How does PharmaCare decide which drugs to cover?
BC PharmaCare evaluates a drug’s safety, efficacy, cost, and its comparison to similar medications. A drug is considered for coverage upon receiving a request from the manufacturer. For more information, please visit BC PharmaCare Drug Review Process. BC PharmaCare continually reviews and updates their drug formulary as new research becomes available.
